I wanted to drop a huge THANK YOU to BLRO for the great bear hunt I had a week ago. There were some scheduling issues on my end, with the late spring, but the boys worked through them so I could still go on the hunt. Will, Don, and Jay were incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and I had a wonderful time. I particularly appreciated the special treatment I got with my bad knee. While not exactly planned, it turned out that I didn't have to walk more than about 30' from the truck to shoot my bear. How much better can it get? Big Lost is an outstanding bunch of guys who know how to do it. Great guides, great hospitality, and great hunting. My life long hunting buddy and I scored a double with two big Mullies above the tree line on an October rifle hunt, and a few other hunters in the lodge harvested some nice bull elk while we were there. We couldn't happier with what we received all around from these guys. The scenery is gorgeous, the wildlife is all over, and the terrain is rugged. If you want a real hunt, and want to find out how well you do in the Rockies I wouldn't hesitate to give this place a try.
