Will’s family homesteaded in the Big Lost River Valley over 4 generations ago and he has spent his whole life here hunting, fishing, and trapping. Will’s passion for the outdoors is unparalleled and he is one of the most respected hunters and guides in the state of Idaho. Will is married to Cheryl and they have a daughter and 4 sons.

Outfitting & Guide Experience:

  • Idaho Licensed Guide since 1986 with this outfitting business, both present and prior ownership.

  • Over 30 years hunting, fishing, trapping, etc. in the Big Lost River Valley and surrounding areas.

  • Extensive knowledge of operating area, hunting operations, and all other aspects of the outfitting and guide business. Highly Experienced Hound Hunter having harvested numerous “too many to count” black bears and mountain lions for clients, family, and friends.

  • Has harvested or helped others harvested several hundred big game animals - 9 different species.

  • Has hiked and backpacked extensively throughout the outfitting and guide operating area.

  • Lifelong resident and he represents the 3rd generation for his family in the Big Lost River Valley

  • US Forest Service Employee – Assistant Fire Management Officer, Salmon/Challis National Forest

  • Has extensive First Aid and Emergency Management Training and Experience from his fire work with the USFS including extensive training in leadership, incident command, etc.
